If you go to Scottish Game Fair visit BASC Scotland where there will be everything from ferrets to food demos, gun fit to taxidermy
BASC Scotland will host a range of demonstrations and events at this year's Scottish Game Fair, which will be held on 29th and 30th June and 1st July at Scone Palace, Perth.
These will include game cookery, pigeon decoying, ferreting and taxidermy demonstrations. People will also be able to have clay shooting lessons and gun fit assessments with BASC-accredited shotgun coaches.
Colin Shedden, BASC Scotland director, and John Batley, director of the Gun Trade Association, will be present each day to discuss airgun licensing and their work on the Scottish Firearms Consultative Panel.
BASC will host a Taste of Game Challenge at the fair. The creator of the tastiest and most innovative game sausage and burger will each be awarded a £50 BushWear voucher.
Craig MacNiven won last year's competition with his recipe for Christmas sausages containing roe, haggis, cranberry jelly, thyme and rosemary. This year’s entries will be subject to a taste test by a panel of judges with the winners being announced on the Saturday.
