Susan Jones


Susan Jones was re-elected as Labour MP for Clwyd South on May 7th 2015 with 13051 votes, taking 37.2% of the vote.

Susan went to Ponciau, Grango and Ruabon schools, and the universities of Bristol and Cardiff. She lives in Pentre Bychan.

A fluent Welsh speaker, Susan also speaks Japanese and has worked in Japan. She has experience of being a councillor and worked as a fundraiser for charities for 20 years.

She is co-chair of the all party parliamentary group on civil societies and volunteering. Moreover, since 2012 Susan has strongly advocated the publication of all MPs’ expenses and publishes her own expense claims on her website each month.
