RSPCA: Help Honey, the REAL grumpiest cat in Britain

Last week the news was awash with pictures of one of Britain’s moodiest moggie – a Persian Burmese by the name of Mr Pip. Now the RSPCA say they may have a contender to Mr Pip’s throne, in the shape of rescue cat Honey – who is anything but sweet natured.

Poor old Honey has every reason to be miserable. Brought into the RSPCA’s Millbrook animal centre in Surrey as stray last year, Honey has yet to find a home. “She is a lovely cat underneath, but she is really not a morning cat and can be very moody and standoffish,” said Angelina Lusher, who cares for Honey at Millbank.

“She also hates other cats, as well as dogs and is not afraid to let people know when she is unhappy!”

Honey does have a good reason to be down in the dumps, as she suffers from stress related hair-loss. “Honey will probably sweeten up as soon as she has a home to go to, but at the moment potential owners can’t seem to get past the fact that she is slightly bald, and a bit angry!”

The RSPCA thinks that there is a loving owner out there, who can help lift Honey out of her grump. Potential owners would have to have no other pets or young children and be prepared to give Honey the time and attention she deserves.
