RHA: Severe weather information
Hauliers intending to travel to Scotland in the next 3 days (12 -15 September), should expect severe weather conditions with associated road closures and delays due to storm damage.

The most affected area will be the Central Belt. The afternoon and evening of today, Monday 12th September is expected to see the worst time of the storm but the current forecasts are that all of Scotland can expect to be hit.
Please plan journeys accordingly and do not take any unnecessary risks, particularly if using high sided vehicles.
In addition, an Amber Alert has been issued from the Highways Agency for the North East and North West regions. Please note that the forecasted strong winds are now being experienced.
