Ruth Cadbury

Biography:

Ruth Cadbury was elected as Labour MP for Brentford & Isleworth on May 7th 2015 with 25096 votes, taking 43.8% of the vote.

Ruth has been a Brentford councillor for 25 years, and was deputy leader of the Hounslow London Borough Council from 2010 to 2012 where she was known for her work on a Living Wage for its staff as well as her opposition to any expansion to the nearby Heathrow Airport.

Ruth is one of two Quakers that were elected during the 2015 general election, the other being Catherine West.
