Mickey Brady

Biography:

Mickey Brady was elected MP for Newry & Armagh on May 7th 2015 with 20488 votes, taking 41.1% of the vote.

Mickey has been a member of the Legislative Assembly of Northern Ireland for Newry and Armagh since 2007, when he took the seat for Sinn Fein, and retained in 2011. His political activity is not confined in the Assembly and Parliament, but continues in many associations, such as the DSD commitee, where he is Deputy Chair, the Assembly’s Health Committeee, the Confederation of Community Groups and the Board of Governors of Abbey Primary School.

Born in 1950 in Newry, Northern Ireland, Mickey is a fervent republican.
