Chris Philp

Biography:

Chris Philp was elected MP for Croydon South on May 7th 2015 with 31448 votes, taking 54.5% of the vote.

Chris is not only a politician but also an entrepreneur. In 2000 he started his first business, Blueheath. In 2004 he co-founded a training and recruitment business specialised in training HGV drivers and, later, co-founded Pluto Capital. Due to his personal background, as an MP he is particularly interested in guaranteeing that everybody from all backgrounds can have the same opportunities, and that public services – as the NHS – will always be available to all those in needs.

In 2000 Chris set up a charity, The Next Big Thing, that works according to his beliefs, and aims to helps students in year 12 and 13 to develop business ideas.
