RHA statement regarding fertiliser transport
The Road Haulage Association recently issued a press release in respect of ‘live loads’ such as bags of fertiliser.
The release included a statement referring to current practice which has been interpreted as meaning that bad practice in the fertiliser sector is widespread.
That was certainly not the Association’s intention, and the RHA wishes to make it clear that it recognises that the vast majority of fertiliser is transported to a very high standard and regrets any confusion that may have arisen.
