RHA: Roadway Magazine gets a new editor

The Road Haulage Association Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline Bullock as editor of the organisation’s flagship publication, Roadway.

She will be overseeing the monthly magazine which is a definitive read for the haulage industry and official journal for the Road Haulage Association Ltd.

Caroline joins the RHA team as a result of the expansion of RHA Publications* which will be headed up by Peter Shakespeare.

Caroline’s media career began as a journalist on an independent regional broadsheet newspaper in Surrey – a remit which included sport and entertainment coverage as well as interviews with prominent politicians and public figures. Most recently she has specialised in business journalism editing the business pages of a major regional broadsheet and producing a quarterly business news supplement.

As a partner in a PR and copywriting agency, The Media Room, Caroline also provides communication expertise to a variety of business sectors through copywriting and public relations consultancy.

“I’m delighted by the opportunity that being editor of Roadway presents,” said Caroline. “The haulage industry is a vital part of our economy and I looking forward to getting to know this exciting and challenging field and ensuring an informative and entertaining read for our members.”

“I am delighted to welcome Caroline as Roadway editor,” Peter Shakespeare added, “her skills and experience will enable us to re-focus Roadway, taking its relevancy – to the needs of our members, their businesses and the wider hire and reward logistics sector – its reach and impact, to the next level.
