BSIA: New face at BSIA

The British Security Industry Association has announced the appointment of Tim Thomas as Director of Administration and Legal Services. Tim will join the BSIA due to the retirement of long-serving Company Secretary, George Cross. He will work with George on a two-month handover from the 1st May and will assume full responsibility from the
1st July.

David Dickinson, BSIA Chief Executive, comments: “Whilst being sad to say goodbye to George Cross who has served the Association so well over so many years, I am delighted to welcome Tim as a new colleague. Apart from his many other attributes, Tim was admitted as a solicitor in March 1993 and brings a wealth and breadth of legal experience. I am confident he will be a great asset to the Association and its members.”

Tim Thomas says: “I am delighted to join the BSIA and am keen to play a full part in continuing and expanding its influence in the security industry. I’m sure there will be many interesting challenges and opportunities ahead in the years to come and I look forward to meeting as many members as possible, as soon as possible.”
