BSIA: Outstanding officers recognised in regional round of BSIA Security Officer Awards 2007
The regional winners of the British Security Industry Association’s Annual Security Officer Awards 2007 have been announced.
The awards recognise excellence within the security guarding sector of the industry in the following categories: Service to the Customer, Outstanding Act, Best Newcomer, Best Use of Technology and Best Team.
David Dickinson, Chief Executive of the British Security Industry Association, comments: “I am always impressed by the extremely high standard of the entrants for our Security Officer Awards, and this year was no exception. It has been an incredibly difficult task to select the winners, as each nomination was outstanding.
“The awards highlight the work of the modern-day professional security officer and demonstrate what an incredible contribution they make to businesses and the wider community on a daily basis. This year’s winners have shown a commitment to professionalism, high levels of customer service and some have displayed significant levels of bravery. It is only right to recognise such officers’ contributions with these awards.”
The BSIA’s Security Officer Awards are presented regionally throughout the UK, with the winners going forward to the national judging phase. The national winners will be presented with their awards by Sir Ronnie Flanagan GBE MA, HM Chief Inspector of Constabulary, at the Association’s Annual Luncheon on 11th July at the London Hilton, Park Lane.
