Big Issue founder John Bird, Baron Bird says that thousands could be at risk of homelessness thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.
Courts in England and Wales are hearing rent eviction cases.
Homeless charity Shelter estimates that 240 thousand private tenants have fallen into arrears during the coronavirus pandemic.
Baron Bird said:
“We are about to enter the most extreme outbreak ever known in society of mass homelessness.”
