He will qualify for the National Living Wage when it is introduced in April next year.
But the “National Living Wage” is only £7.20 per hour.
Not enough to live on.
Especially when introduced alongside cuts to in-work benefits.
Which prop up low wages.
But it’s not all bad news.
The National Living Wage is going to rise to £9.35.
In 2020.
