National Grid: Beating renewable targets ‘no longer credible’

National Grid's head of energy strategy and policy, Richard Smith, introduces the company's Future Energy Scenarios report for 2013.

In the report, National Grid sets out two scenarios for the development of energy in the UK, having dropped a third scenario which saw the UK beating its 2020 renewable energy targets because it was "no longer credible".

This is one of four videos produced by National Grid to summarise the Future Energy Scenarios report. You can watch the other videos here.
