Biography:
Stewart McDonald was elected MP for Glasgow South on May 7th 2015 with 26773 votes, taking 54.9% of the vote.
Stewart, who was selected unopposed as the SNP candidate for the Glasgow South constituency in October 2014, is a member of the House of Commons Transport Select Committee.
Stewart was born in Castlemilk, Glasgow, but move to Govan when he was 5.
