Biography:
Rebecca Long-Bailey was elected MP for Salford & Eccles on May 7th 2015 with 21364 votes, taking 49.4% of the vote.
Rebecca worked as a solicitor specialised in NHS contracts and NHS estates before being selected, also thanks to the backing of the Unite union, as a candidate for the 2015 elections.
Rebecca, born in 1980, is the daughter of Jimmy Long-Bailey, a Salford docker and a trade union representative at Shell, Barton Docks.
