Mike Freer

Biography:

Mike Freer was re-elected as Conservative MP for Finchley and Golders Green on May 7th 2015 with 25835 votes, taking 50.9% of the vote.

Mike lives in Finchley and previously represented Finchley Church End as a local Councillor. He is a member of Friends of Windsor Open Space, Conservative Friends of Israel, Conservative Friends of Cyprus and is also a Friend of British Asian Conservative link. Mike is Vice-President of the All-Party parliamentary group against anti-Semitism.

Outside of politics Mike was a self employed consultant and had previously held several positions within the banking and finance sectors.

Mike also has a history of voluntary and community work which includes being treasurer of the Barnet Tsunami Appeal, Chairman of Barnet Multi-faith forum, former hospice and meals on wheels volunteer.
