Marion Fellows


Marion Fellows was elected MP for Motherwell and Wishaw on May 7th 2015 with 27275 votes, taking 56.5% of the vote.

Prior to her election, Marion has taught business studies at West Lothian College, where she was also an active trade unionist in the Educational Institute of Scotland. In 2012 she was elected councillor in the North Lanarkshire Council, and during the 2014 independence referendum she has actively campaigned for the Yes vote.

Marion studied accountancy and finance at Heriot Watt University. She has been living with her family in Wishaw and Bellshill since the 1970s.
