Kit Malthouse

Biography:

Kit Malthouse was elected MP for North West Hampshire on May 7th 2015 with 32052 votes, taking 58.1% of the vote.

Kit’s career as a politician started in 1998, when he was elected to the Westminster City Council (from which he retired in 2006) to represent St George’s ward in the Pimlico area, a role retained in May 2002. Kit was a Deputy Major for Policing in London from 2008 to 2012, and then for Business and Enterprise from 2012 to March 2015.

Born in Liverpool in 1966, Kit studied Politics and Economics at Newcastle-upon-Tyne University.
