Kate Osamor

Biography:

Kate Osamor was elected MP for Aberavon on May 7th 2015 with 25388 votes, taking 61.4% of the vote.

Kate was elected in 2014 onto the Labour NEC to represent constituency members alongside Ken Livingstone, Ann Black and Ellie Reeves. Prior to her political career, she became the chair of Governors at a local school, and has worked for 15 years at the NHS, both as a GP at an Out Of Hours Co-Op.

Born in London in 1968, Kate studied Thirld World Studies at the University of London.
