Justin Tomlinson

Biography:

Justin Tomlinson was re-elected as Conservative MP for North Swindon on May 7th 2015 with 26295 votes, taking 50.3% of the vote.

Justin had previously contested this seat in 2005, and in 2010 won with a majority of 7,060.

Previously Justin was elected as a Councillor to represent the Abbey Meads ward in 2000, re-elected 2002 & 2006.

Justin’s final term as a Councillor ended on the day he was elected to become the MP.

Justin served as the Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure & Recreation for 4 years. In 2003, Justin was the National Chair of Conservative Future. On 8th May 2015 he was appointed Minister of State for Disabled People.
