Jonathan Reynolds

Biography:

Jonathan Reynolds was re-elected as Labour MP for Stalybridge and Hyde on May 7th 2015 with 18447 votes, taking 45.0% of the vote.

Jonathan Reynolds is a serving councillor who represents the Longdendale ward on Tameside Council. He is a member of Tameside Council’s Cabinet and he is Deputy Chair of Longdendale and Hattersley District Assembly. Since 2013 he is Shadow Minister for Energy and Climate Change.

He studied at the University of Manchester and BBP Law School (Manchester). And before being elected as an MP Jonathan was training to be a solicitor at Addleshaw Goddard, in Manchester. He is a member of the Co-operative Party and the Unite union.

Jonathan lives in Mottram with his wife Claire.
