Biography:
John Zak Woodcock was re-elected MP for Barrow and Furness on May 7th 2015 with 18320 votes, taking 42.3% of the vote.
John was first elected Labour-Cooperative member of Parliament in May 2010, and has served as a shadow minister for transport between 2010 and 2013.
John has studied to the University of Edinburgh before becoming an aide to John Hutton from 2005 to 2008 and later a special advisor to Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
