Biography:
John Stevenson was re-elected MP for Carlisle on May 7th 2015 with 18873 votes, taking 44.3% of the vote.
John, who has been first elected MP for Calisle in 2010, has been the first Conservative to hold the seat in this Cumbria’s city since 1959.
Born in Aberdeen in 1963, John is interested in business, education and local government, and aims to see a unitary local government system in Cumbria.
