Gavin Newlands

Biography:

Gavin Newlands was elected SNP MP for Paisley & Renfrewshire North on May 7th 2015 with 25601 votes, taking 50.7% of the vote.

Gavin has been an associate member of Maryhill Community Council for 18 months, and in 2014 Gavin was the treasurer of St James’ Pre 5 Centre where his then four-year-old daughter enrolled.

Prior to his public commitment, Gavin ran two £2,000,000 turnover restaurants.
