Danny Kinahan

Biography:

Danny Kinahan was elected MP for South Antrim on May 7th 2015 with 11942 votes, taking 32.7% of the vote.

Danny has been a Member of the Northen Ireland Assembly from June 2009 to June 2015. During the 2015 general election he gained his seat with the UUP from the DUP, finishing ahead of the incumbent William McCrea.

Danny is the son of Sir Robin Kinahan and the cousin of singer Chris de Burgh. He is an antiques expert and worked as Christie’s auctioneers Irish representative.
