Clive Lewis

Clive Lewis was elected MP for Norwich South on May 7th 2015 with 19033 votes, taking 39.3% of the vote.

Clive was selected as Prospective parliamentary candidate for Norwich South at the Labour Party’s hustings in November 2011; amongst those defeated there was former Blur drummer Dave Rowntree. Clive is renown to be outspoken, and he has taken the distance from the views of his party on different matters, such as nuclear weapons and immigration.

Born in London, he grew up on a council estate in Northampton. First of his family to attend university, he studied economics at the University of Bradford before being elected student union president and, eventually, Vice President of the National Union of Students (NUS).
