Biography:
Charlie Elphicke was re-elected as Conservative MP for Dover on May 7th 2015 with 21737 votes, taking 43.3% of the vote.
Charlie lives at his home in Deal, he is married to Natalie and they have two children – Charlotte and Thomas. He was educated at Nottingham University and is a former barrister and solicitor.
Prior to his election as Member of Parliament for Dover and Deal, Charlie was a partner in an international law firm, concentrating on securing more inward investment into Britain. A research fellow for the Centre for Policy Studies, Charlie is a frequent commentator on tax, the economy and pensions. In past times, Charlie served as a Councillor on Lambeth Council.
He has been a member of the public administration select committee and of the Consolidation Bills (Joint Committee).
