Biography:
Angela Crawley was elected MP for Lanark & Hamilton East on May 7th 2015 with 26976 votes, taking 48.8% of the vote.
She first stepped into politics in 2012, when she was elected to South Lanarkshire Council for the Hamilton South ward. Since 2014, she is the National Convenor of the SNP’s youth-wing, Young Scots for Independence, also sitting on the party’s National Executive Committee. She is the SNP Spokesperson for Young People and Community Resources.
Born in Hamilton, Crawley studied Politics at University of Stirling where she obtained a BA degree. She is currently studying for an LLB degree in Law at the University of Glasgow.
