Andy McDonald

Biography:

Andy McDonald was re-elected MP for Middlesbrough on May 7th 2015 with 18584 votes, taking 56.8% of the vote.

Andy was first elected MP for the Middlesbrough Constituency on November 29th 2012. Before becoming a Minister of the Parliament, Andy was a governor of Abingdon Primary School in Middlesbrough for fifteen years, and is currently a member of the Board of Governors of Middlesbrough College. Moreover, he was chair of two local charities, The Davison Trust – which works with children with special needs – and the Teesside Branch of Headway – which works with people with brain injuries.

Born in 1958 in Acklam, Middlesbrough, Andy studied Law at Leeds Polytechnic.
