Alex Chalk


Alex Chalk was elected MP for Cheltenham on May 7th 2015 with 24790 votes, taking 46.1% of the vote.

While he was working in London, Alex has been chosen twice as a councillor in Hammershith & Fulham, where he chaired the Planning Committee for four years and helped driving down council tax.

Alex was born in Foxcote, outside Cheltenham, in 1977. Prior to starting his career as a politician, he was a barrister specialised in counter-terrorism, homicide and serious fraud cases.
