Better Information Management: guidance for infrastructure bodies; is the title of a new document published on the UK Roads Liaison Group website. The 154 page guide has been produced to help organisations operating in the transport and infrastructure sectors to get to grips with BIM.
The guide points out that industry has been in discussion for some time as to what the acronym BIM stands for, but that those involved in infrastructure should adopt the definition BIM = Better Information Management.
