Three people from Cheshire and Greater Manchester are due to appear at Stockport Magistrates Court for a first hearing on Wednesday (31 July 2013) at 2pm to answer alleged offences related to poor animal welfare in the process of selling puppies.

Lilly Cooper (23/9/1986), of Marple Road, Stockport, faces three alleged offences including helping Peter Jones and Julian King to breach their disqualification relating to animals, as well as failing to meet the welfare needs of 835 puppies and causing unnecessary suffering to four Yorkshire terriers.

Peter Jones (30/6/83), of Reed Street, Gorton, Manchester, faces three alleged offences including breaching a ban relating to animals, failing to meet the welfare needs of 835 puppies and causing unnecessary suffering to four Yorkshire terriers.

Julian King (11/9/85), of The Links, Hyde, Cheshire, faces three alleged offences including breaching a ban relating to animals, failing to meet the welfare needs of 835 puppies and causing unnecessary suffering to four Yorkshire terriers.
