A Progression Day is a step up from the Introductory Days. These days are designed to address a more specific interest such as game shooting; hawking; shooting etiquette etc. Places on these days will be limited in order to ensure all applicants receive proper attention. You will only benefit from these days if you have previous experience and a genuine interest in the activity on offer. For this particular day you must be at least 12 years old and be a BASC member to comply with our insurance. You must also have prior experience of shotgun shooting but do not need your own gun. The cost is £40 per applicant.
This particular day will offer:
Shotgun handling & safety, clay shooting theory & practice; individual tuition; game shooting etiquette plus mini simulated game shoot; pigeon decoying & building a hide; ST2 shooting simulator to help identify your shooting skills. The day will suit those wanting to become involved in driven game or rough shooting.
