A delegation of Unite members working at Bombardier, business leaders, and Derby councillors will travel to London from Derby on a Bombardier built train to call on the Tory-led government to "to save British train manufacturing" on the day of the Transport Select Committee hearing.

The delegation of 200 people will go to The Old Palace Yard opposite the Palace of Westminster for a press call and media opportunity commencing at 10.00am. They will unfurl a banner declaring its “time to save British train manufacturing”. The photo opportunity will include Unite general secretary Len McCluskey, the leader of Derby City Council, the Mayor of Derby and 100 union members from Bombardier.
