ABI response to Insolvency Service’s consultation on Insolvency Practitioners
In response Insolvency Service’s consultation on Reforms to the Regulation of Insolvency Practitioners, published today, Nick Starling, the ABI’s Director of General Insurance and Health, said:
“Insurers have long argued for the rights of unsecured creditors to be recognised. The draft proposals in this consultation are a welcome step forward to achieving this. It is important that more is done to improve and enhance the position of unsecured creditors in insolvencies, as they are often left in the out in the cold.”
