UNITE: CBI’s proposals will deny workers any voice in their working lives

CBI’s proposals will deny workers any voice in their working lives. Unite joint general secretary, Tony Woodley said:

“Agency workers are already mistreated by employers and used to undercut wages. They need equal treatment, not employers further misusing them to prolong industrial disputes.

“The CBI’s proposals are not designed to improve industrial relations but instead to deny workers any voice in their working lives. If the Coalition government pays them heed then it will confirm the worst fears of working people, which is that this administration has no care for or understanding of their concerns.”
