ABI welcomes Lord Mandelson’s confidence in the trade credit insurance market
Commenting on the announcement by Business Secretary, Lord Mandelson, that the Government is working on a possible scheme to help improve the availability of credit to businesses, Nick Starling, the ABI’s Director of General Insurance and Health, said:
“The ABI has been working closely with the Government to find a solution to the lack of credit availability in current market conditions. This announcement reflects the confidence Government has in the trade credit insurance market. We look forward to taking part in further detailed discussions.”
