Four people have been arrested after breaking into the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills.

A protest yesterday evening in front of Vince Cable’s department ended in dramatic fashion as protestors broke in to the building on Victoria Street in Westminster.

According to police the four arrests were made on three men aged 26, 23 and 19 – and one 19-year old woman.

The protest came on the day the comprehensive spending review was announced.

The rest of the protestors reportedly dissipated willingly without further arrests.
