Baroness Scotland ’employed illegal immigrant’

An illegal immigrant found work in the home of attorney general Baroness Scotland, it has emerged.
Baroness Scotland is responsible for overseeing all criminal prosecutions in England and Wales but could face a two-year prison sentence and unlimited fine for failing to verify the status of her employee.
However, her office has insisted that she did not knowingly employ an illegal immigrant, allowing her to escape that fate.
The incident will be embarrassing for Baroness Scotland, however, who worked in the Home Office when the department was working on major immigration legislation.
She employed a 27-year-old Tongan woman, as a housekeeper, the Mail reported.
