In an animated response, Thatcher uses her hands and arms to demonstrate the gap between rich and poor after being challenged by MPs who respond by mimicking the PM.

"You’d rather have the poor poorer, provided the rich were less rich … you do not create a wealth and opportunity that way. You do not create a property owning democracy that way," Thatcher said.

On a promotional tour for her book, "The Path to Power," Thatcher offers a firm "no" after US talk show host Larry King asks if she would like to be "in that office again."

"No … the ole girl went and the ole girl’s never going to come back," Thatcher joked on the prospect of returning to office.
