Harris was a surprise omission from our last list. Everyone expected him to be there, but by the time we worked out the scores he'd fallen off the bottom. Not so this time. Like most of the top ten, Harris has an authentic voice. The real distinction between him and most MPs is that he is in no hurry to be nice. There is a commendable equality to the way he treats people. The Labour MP addresses political pundits in the same manner as members of the public. He can be warm and lighthearted but also extremely combative. His tweets about Scotland are a genuinely useful resource for those looking to keep their finger on the pulse of events north of the border. There is one caveat to the praise, however: If you don't like Doctor Who, half the feed will go over your head.
